Website delivery

Your new site is built. Three steps and it's live.

Everything is finished and running at 2nmissioncritical.studioraine.art. Have a look around, then come back here for the three things I need from you.

Before and after

Same company, told properly

Both of these are real screenshots of the homepage, taken from the top of the page at the same size.

BeforeYour site today2nmissioncritical.com
Before: the your site today homepage

A GoDaddy website builder template. Your logo sits in a white box, there are no credentials on it anywhere, and there is no way for anyone to get in touch except a contact form on another page.

AfterWhat replaces it2nmissioncritical.studioraine.art
After: the what replaces it homepage

Built around your ACG membership and Freddy's CxA, which are the first things a hyperscale owner looks for. Eight pages, a working contact form and a careers system behind it.

The quick version

  1. Pay

Use the Stripe link. It's the same one I texted you.

  2. Want changes?

Text me a couple of times that suit you and we'll get on Zoom.

  3. Go live

Send me access to your GoDaddy and I'll put it on your domain.

What's already built

All of it is working right now

Go through the site and try anything you like. Send yourself an enquiry through the contact form if you want to watch it come through.

Eight full pages

A complete site, written in your voice rather than mine.

  • Home, Commissioning, Services, Markets, About, Careers, Contact and Legal.
  • Your commissioning process, laid out level by level.
  • Profiles for Freddy and Antwan, using the photos from your own About page.
  • Your ACG membership and Freddy's CxA credential, neither of which was anywhere on the old site.

A contact form that works

When someone enquires, it lands in your inbox as an email.

  • Seven questions, including what sort of project it is and what phase they're at.
  • Hit reply and your answer goes straight back to them.
  • Spam gets filtered out before it ever reaches you.
  • If an email ever fails to send, the visitor gets your address rather than a dead end.

A careers page that collects real applications

Rather than asking people to email a resume, it gathers everything you'd want to know first.

  • Twelve questions covering discipline, experience, travel and work authorisation.
  • A certifications checklist with CxA, BCxP, NEBB, PE, NETA and the rest of them.
  • Candidates upload a resume as a PDF or Word file, up to five megabytes.
  • It arrives attached to the email, ready for you to open.
  • Applications land in their own inbox, so they don't get mixed in with project enquiries.

Your brand and your artwork

Your logo and your colours, exactly as you supplied them.

  • Your blue and your green, unchanged.
  • Your own logo file. I didn't redraw any of it.
  • One typeface across the whole site, served from our own server so pages open quickly.

Proper on phones, and accessible

This one earns its keep when you're bidding for enterprise work.

  • Accessibility contrast was measured on phone and on desktop, against the real rendered pixels rather than assumed backgrounds.
  • You can get through the whole site by keyboard, and every form field is labelled.
  • It was built for phones first, since that's where most people will find you.

Set up to be found

The work behind the scenes that gets you listed by Google and read by AI search.

  • Sitemap, page titles and descriptions, all done.
  • A proper preview card when somebody texts or shares the link.
  • Your business details published in the format search engines read.
  • A file that lets AI search tools read the site the way it's meant to be read.

Fast, and already hosted

Hosting and the security padlock are sorted.

  • It runs on a global network, and the certificate comes with it.
  • Images are sized for whatever device you're on, so phones stay quick.
  • Every change is version controlled, so anything can be undone.

Everything on it holds up

A hyperscale client can check any claim on the site, so I wrote it to that standard.

  • Every claim traces back to your own material or a public record.
  • There's no engineering licence claimed, since neither of you holds one.
  • No past client is named anywhere. Your history stays yours.
How changes work

Every change you want on this site is included

A round isn't a count of edits, it's one pass across the whole site, and you can put as much into it as you like. Two of those come with the build. Send me everything you can think of.

Comes with the build

  • As many changes as you want

Write down everything you'd like different, however long the list gets, and it all gets done in one go. There's no per item counting and nothing on the list is too small to mention.

  • Then a whole second pass after that

Once the first lot is live and you've sat with it, you get another full round. It's there so you can react to the real thing instead of having to picture it. Most people never end up using it.

  • Getting it onto your domain

I'll connect 2nmissioncritical.com and check it loads properly.

  • Your email carries on working

Only the website moves. Your mail stays exactly where it is.

Separate jobs, whenever you want them

None of this is anything you need to think about now. It's here so you know what sits outside the build.

  • New pages or features

A new service page, a project gallery, anything that isn't in the site as it stands.

  • A refresh further down the line

Months from now, once it's been live a while and you want to change direction. That's a new job rather than a revision.

  • Looking after it long term

Ongoing edits, or a monthly arrangement if you'd rather have one.

  • Photos, video or new writing

Including any logo or brand work.

  • Anything away from the website

Google ads, SEO campaigns, email marketing, social media.

  • Bills from other companies

Domain renewal, email hosting, stock photos. Those come to you from them directly.

Don't ration your notes. If something bothers you about the site, put it on the list, and if you think of more after you've sent it, send that too.

What I need from you

Three steps, in this order

About ten minutes, give or take.

  1. Start here

    Pay the invoice

Tap the button below. It's the same link I sent to your phone, so use whichever one is easier to get to.

    Pay with Stripe

You can pay by card, Apple Pay or bank transfer. Stripe should also offer Klarna, Afterpay and Affirm if you'd rather spread it out.

Stripe handles all of it, so your card details never come near this page or near me.

  2. If you want changes

Text me a couple of times that suit you

Reply on the same text thread with two or three windows that work for you. We'll go through the site together on Zoom and I'll make the changes afterwards. Bring as much as you want to that call, there's no limit on what goes into it.

    Handy to have ready

    • Any wording you'd like changed, however rough.
    • Photos from your own projects, if you have any. That's the one thing that would lift the site further than anything else I could do to it.
    • The right phone number for your ACG listing. Their directory has 407 and your brochure has 470, so one of the two needs correcting.

If you're happy with it as it is, skip straight to step three. Your changes stay available either way, so you can always come back to them once you've lived with the site for a bit.

  3. To go live

Send me access to your GoDaddy

Your domain lives at GoDaddy, and I need to change a few settings there to point 2nmissioncritical.com at the new site. Delegate access is the easiest way to do it, and you won't have to share a password with me.

    It's four taps

    1. Open your GoDaddy Delegate Access page. It'll ask you to sign in.
    2. Under 'People who can access my account', hit Invite to Access.
    3. Put in my name and johnraine@studioraine.art, then pick an access level. Whichever one you're comfortable with is fine and I'll tell you if I need more.
    4. Hit Invite, then send me a text and I'll take it from there.

You can take that access away again any time from the same screen. It doesn't reach your payment details, and you aren't handing over a password.

The new site takes over from the old one within a few hours, and your email keeps running the whole time.

In short

Pay the link, tell me if you want changes, then send me the domain.

That's the lot. Changes are included, so don't hold back on anything you want different. If you ever want a genuinely new piece of work, ask me and I'll price it up first.

  1. Pay the invoice
  2. Tell me about changes
  3. Send me GoDaddy access
